I've been following Montez Garner's case since it first emerged, and I just can't get over how his family, especially his kids, must be feeling now. Losing a father so suddenly and in such a tragic way is something no child should ever have to go through. It really makes me think about how important it is for communities to rally around families dealing with this kind of loss. I hope that Montez’s children receive all the support and love they need to navigate through life without their dad. It's moments like these when we should all come together and try to bring about some positive change to prevent such tragedies from happening in the future. Would love to hear thoughts on how communities can better support families impacted by such tragedies.

Hey everyone, I've been thinking about Montez Garner's tragic case and something keeps bothering me. Has there been any more discussion on whether the plea deal was fair? I mean, I get that Clark did take a plea for voluntary manslaughter, but it still feels like such a short sentence for taking a life. I'm not in any way trying to discredit the justice system, but I can't stop thinking about his family, especially his kids. Growing up without a dad because of an act of violence must be incredibly tough. Did anyone else catch any insight from the legal proceedings, or is it just how these things go sometimes? My heart is with Montez's family, and I hope they're finding the support they need to heal. If anyone has more info or thoughts, I'd really appreciate hearing them.
