I can't stop thinking about Callie in all this. Just 3 years old and suddenly her world has changed forever. It’s incredibly tragic to imagine what such a young child might be going through, even if she doesn't fully understand everything yet. I'm relieved that she's now in the care of Sarah's father, but it's heartbreaking to know she'll grow up without her mother. I keep wondering if there were any red flags that might've been missed or if the military could have provided more support for Keith, especially with his PTSD. It just feels like so many systems failed them. No one should have to endure this kind of tragedy, and it’s yet another reminder of how critical it is to pay attention to signs of domestic trouble and mental health struggles. My heart goes out to both sides of their families, who must be grappling with immense grief and confusion.

Has anyone else been looking into how PTSD might have played a role in this heartbreaking situation with Sarah Lewis? It seems like such a complex and often overlooked issue, especially in cases involving military personnel. I've read that alcohol can exacerbate symptoms, and it sounds like there was a history of him becoming violent when he drank. It's just so tragic that it spiraled into this, impacting not only Sarah and Keith but their children and families. It’s a reminder of how vital it is to support our veterans in dealing with mental health struggles. I hope this case brings more awareness to the resources available for those dealing with PTSD, so maybe, just maybe, someone else can be spared from a similar fate. My heart goes out to Sarah’s family and friends, especially her children who will grow up with this loss.
