I keep thinking about the little 2-year-old who survived the shooting at Coleridge Road Apartments. It's hard to imagine what that child went through and what kind of recovery lies ahead, both physically and emotionally. I hope there is a strong network of support for them, including family members who can provide love and stability in the aftermath of such a traumatic event. Situations like this make me wonder how trauma, especially at such a young age, affects a person as they grow older. My heart goes out to the child's family; they must be going through so much right now. It's incredibly frustrating that the investigation hasn't yielded any charges yet. Let's hope the police can make some headway soon. Stay strong, Asheboro.
