You know, I was digging through some old newspaper archives from 1968, and it struck me that there was quite a bit of upheaval around the time that Furman Joseph Byrd went missing. I came across some articles discussing student protests and social movements at various universities, including those in Boston. It got me wondering whether Furman might have been involved in any of these activities. Given that he was possibly an art student, do you think it's possible he fell in with a group that led him out of his usual circle? I haven’t found a direct link, but the timing is interesting. Anyone have thoughts on whether this angle has been explored by investigators?
