Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum but have been following the Katherine Bruno case closely. I recently came across some information about Katherine's incredible volunteer work at a local animal shelter in Durham. It hit me hard to learn about her kindness and dedication to helping animals find loving homes. It's truly tragic that a person with such a compassionate heart was taken so soon. I've read a few articles that mentioned how her friends and family continue to support the shelter in her memory, which I think is such a beautiful way to honor her. If anyone has more information about her contributions there or any other causes she supported, I'd love to hear more. I think remembering the positive impact she had on her community helps keep her spirit alive. Sending thoughts to her loved ones during this difficult time. ??

I've been thinking a lot about the timeline of events on the morning of Katherine's death. It's really unnerving how quickly things unfolded. For law enforcement to be on the scene by 8:15 a.m., Katherine must have been shot earlier that morning. It makes me wonder if she had any sort of protection or security around her home. Did she have a camera system or alarm, and if so, did it capture anything helpful? It's just so tragic that this happened right in her home, a place where she should have felt safe. My heart goes out to her family and all who knew her. I hope they can find some peace and that justice is served for Katherine.
