I've been trying to piece together more about Mercedes Lodge's disappearance for a while now. One thing that really caught my attention is her connection to the AA meetings in Hayward. It's possible someone from the meetings might have seen or heard something unusual around the time she went missing. Meetings often create a tight-knit community where people share deeply personal stories, so could there have been someone with an unusual interest in her, or did she mention any concerns or odd encounters within the group? It might be worth revisiting the attendees from that time, although I know it's a long shot given how much time has passed. Anyone else think there's a chance someone from there might hold a clue?

Has anyone here looked into the timeline of Mercedes Lodge's disappearance with regards to her AA meetings? There might be someone from the meetings who remembers seeing her or anything unusual around that time. I wonder if the attendees were ever interviewed or if any leads came from the meeting locations. The fact that she was committed to her recovery is so important, and it seems like those meetings were a significant part of her routine. Anyone with knowledge about those meetings, or who attended them during late 1974 in Hayward, might hold a crucial piece of the puzzle.
