Does anyone else find it odd how far Ludger was found from where he supposedly shot the deer? I've been looking at the map and Route 105 seems pretty secluded, but it's not too far from civilization. If he was picked up by a passing vehicle, why hasn't the driver ever come forward, even anonymously? Also, the fact that one suspect reportedly confessed but nothing came of it really baffles me. It makes me wonder if someone influential was involved or if there was a massive oversight in the investigation. Have any locals shared stories or rumors about this case over the years? It's like this whole incident happened in a void.
