I've been following Cara Fantasia Lane's case closely, and one detail I can't get out of my mind is the location where it all happened. Gold Mine Road in Morganton—sounds almost idyllic, doesn't it? But for Cara's family and friends, it'll forever be a place of immense sorrow. I can't help but think about how this has affected the community. Such a horrible event occurring at what I assume is a quiet, rural setting must be incredibly unsettling for the locals. Do any of you have thoughts on how the setting of a crime impacts the communities left dealing with the aftermath? I'm hoping for justice and some form of peace for Cara’s loved ones. ?
