It's incredibly upsetting to think about the kind of world where a young man like Masson Sanderson can be taken away like this. I've been reflecting on the surveillance footage that showed the white vehicle following him. It’s puzzling and makes you wonder about the motive behind this senseless act. Why was Masson targeted, and why did they feel the need to involve multiple weapons? Seeing that the GMC Acadia was stolen a month before the crime, it strikes me as such a cold and calculated move. It makes you question how long this was planned out. I hope the recent arrests bring some level of comfort to Masson's family, but I also hope they find answers to the many questions that linger. I feel for Masson's young son, Coda, growing up without his father. No child should have to experience that loss. I'm keeping them, especially Sanderson's mother and grandmother, in my thoughts during this incredibly tough time. They need all the support they can get, both from the community and the justice system, as more details about this case unfold.
