It’s truly distressing to think about how much trauma Skyteria's family is enduring. I can’t even imagine the horror they must have felt hearing those gunshots and then finding Skyteria on the porch like that. It seems unfathomable to witness a loved one in their final moments. I really hope the community comes together to support them in their grieving and healing process. Also, I’ve been thinking about the role of community in these tragic situations. Shelby's experienced far too much loss from gun violence this year. It's a small town, and I hope this serves as a wake-up call for more initiatives focusing on youth violence prevention. There's got to be more we can do collectively to keep our young people safe and away from harm. What are everyone's thoughts on how we can better support initiatives like these, not just in Shelby, but in other towns facing similar challenges?

I've been following the tragic case of Skyteria "Eva" Poston, and my heart truly goes out to her family and the Shelby community. I wanted to discuss something that's been on my mind regarding the reward being offered for the capture of Santana Almont Eaves Jr. The U.S. Marshal’s Service has put out a $5,000 reward for any information leading to his arrest. While I hope this incentive encourages people to come forward, it's concerning to think that Eaves might be getting help from people close to him. The longer he's out there, the harder it must be for Eva's family and friends who are seeking justice. I wonder if there's anything more the community can do to support the police efforts and spread awareness about the reward? Maybe we need to start a local campaign or something similar to remind folks that justice for Eva is still very much needed. It’s frustrating to think someone involved in such a heartbreaking act might be hiding in plain sight, possibly with the help of others. Keeping Eva and her family in my thoughts, hoping for a resolution soon.
