Does anyone else find it strange that Robert Allen Meredith's wife never reported him missing? She claimed he was in touch from Florida, but why wouldn't she want an official report if she truly believed he was out there? This case has so many puzzling elements, but her decision to not involve the authorities back then adds more confusion. I wonder if there was more to their argument or if perhaps she really thought he'd turn up eventually. Even though years have passed since his sister got the ball rolling with law enforcement, it seems odd that such a significant detail was overlooked initially. I'd love to hear thoughts on why she might have been so reluctant to take official action until much later.

I've been following Robert Allen Meredith's case for a while now, and something that's always struck me as odd is the letters and calls his wife claimed to have received. Did anyone else find it suspicious that she never reported him missing, but had this alleged contact? It's puzzling that there were no other verifiable contacts from him all those years, especially with the claims of him being in Florida. I can't help but wonder if those were really from him or if something more is going on here. If Meredith was indeed alive and well enough to write letters, wouldn’t it make sense for him to reach out to his children or sister? This part of the story feels like a loose thread that was never really pulled on properly, and I wonder what others think about her role in all this.

Does anyone else find it odd that Robert Meredith’s wife never reported him missing, despite claiming to receive letters and calls from him? If she truly believed he was alive and in contact, wouldn't she want that verified by the police? It seems strange to me that it took his sister’s concern, over a decade later, to bring his disappearance to the authorities' attention. Maybe she was trying to protect him if he had gone off the grid, but it doesn’t add up, especially with family saying he wouldn’t walk away like that. Has anyone come across similar situations in other cases where a spouse didn’t report a loved one missing for years? It makes me wonder what more there is to this story.
