Hopefully this will be a cold case the authorities take a closer look at. DNA has evolved, and a fresh set of eyes would really help. This especially needs to happen before witnesses pass away due to time.

Has anyone looked into the backgrounds of Marvin Warren and Eddie Gross more thoroughly? Their connection to Patty and Peggy seems sketchy. I find it odd that two young girls would move in with guys they barely knew, especially with one being almost twice their age. It makes me feel like they might've had ulterior motives for befriending the sisters. Were they involved in any criminal activities or had run-ins with the law before or after the girls went missing? Maybe it's worth revisiting any old police reports or questioning people who might've known their circle back then. They could hold the key to understanding what really happened to Patty and Peggy.
Does anyone have more information on the letter Patty and Peggy sent to their mom? I've been going through old threads and couldn't find much about its contents. It seems pretty crucial, especially since they asked for help in returning to New Jersey. Was there anything specific that made them uneasy about hanging out with Marvin and Eddie, or was it more about wanting to be back with family? It's such a curious detail, and I just wonder if the tone or details in that letter might give any clues as to their state of mind or if there was something that happened which made them want to leave ASAP. It's one piece of this puzzle that really stands out to me.
Does anyone have more info on the owner of "The Plank" disco club? It’s hard not to wonder about the people running that place back in 1979. Patty and Peggy disappearing the same night Nelson Johnson was found murdered feels like more than a coincidence. It would be interesting to know who was managing or frequently visiting this club around the time of the sisters' disappearance. Clubs can be a hotbed for shady activities, and knowing who was involved could help piece things together. Anyone who spent time at “The Plank” back then might have noticed something odd, even if it didn’t seem significant at the time. Would love to hear from locals who might remember.
