Has anyone else looked into the possible connection between the location of Derek's house and the shooting? I've been reading about other incidents in the area, and I'm wondering if there's a pattern or if similar crimes have happened nearby. It just feels devastating to think that his home, a place where he should have been safe, was where his life was taken so violently. My heart goes out to his family and friends.
