Has anyone else been following the details about the firearm possession charge in the Timothy Mackey case? I can't wrap my head around how Cedric Young, with a felony record, got hold of a gun in the first place. It’s just infuriating that these loopholes still exist and contribute to such senseless violence. Thinking about Timothy's kids and how they're going to grow up without their dad breaks my heart. It makes you wonder about the broader issue and how we can prevent future tragedies like this. Hoping the police can really dig into the source of that firearm and that this leads to some changes in how these things are regulated. Offering all my thoughts and strength to Timothy’s family and the Charlotte community right now. ? If anyone has any updates or more info, please share.

Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Timothy Mackey? It's so upsetting to hear about another senseless act of violence tearing a family apart. I was reading about how the investigation is still ongoing, and it got me thinking about witness cooperation. The police have urged the public to come forward with any information, but there can be so many factors that might prevent potential witnesses from speaking up. I can't even begin to imagine the pain his children must be going through and the frustration of knowing that there might be people out there with crucial information who haven't shared it yet.
