This case is a heavy reminder of the violence that seems to be everywhere these days. I've been thinking a lot about Rodrick's kids and what they must be going through right now. Losing a parent in such a horrific way is unimaginable, especially when they're so young. It breaks my heart to think that they won't get a chance to grow up with their father by their side. It's reassuring that community members are coming together to support them, but it's hard not to feel for those little ones who have to navigate this loss. I hope the family is surrounded by love and strength during this difficult time. It's a wake-up call for the community to step up and find ways to protect our youth and stop the cycle of violence.
