I've been researching old missing persons cases, and Benjamin Benali's disappearance always puzzles me. I read somewhere that field investigators often rely on public niche leads or tips even decades later. I'm curious if anyone has ever tried using modern technology like drones or ground-penetrating radar to possibly uncover clues in areas Benali frequented back in 1981? It seems like with all the advances we've made, someone might discover something new. Does anyone have more insights into how such tech has been effectively used in cold cases?
Does anyone remember the story about Benjamin Benali? Something's been bothering me. I recently came across an old photograph from around the time he went missing. It shows a group of people at some sort of gathering in San Francisco, just days before his disappearance. There's a guy who looks an awful lot like Benjamin in the background, wearing a similar beige corduroy coat. I've been combing through online archives trying to find more about this event, but so far, no luck. Does anyone know of any big events or community gatherings in SF around mid-June 1981? Maybe there's more about that day that could offer some insight. Would love to hear any thoughts!
