I can't stop thinking about Amy's children, especially KJ. I can't imagine the emotional and physical pain Keiyara must be going through after losing her mother and experiencing such a traumatic event firsthand. It's just so unfair for a daughter to have to endure this. Amy seemed like she was a devoted mom and grandmother, and it must be incredibly hard for her family to find a way forward. The strength they will need during this time is unimaginable. I hope KJ receives all the support and love she needs to heal from this, though it will never undo the past. My heart goes out to all of Amy's loved ones as they navigate this horrible chapter.

I've been thinking a lot about the bravery it must have taken for Keiyara to survive that terrifying night. At just 22, she faced something no one should ever have to, and while her physical wounds may eventually heal, I can’t stop thinking about the emotional scars she must bear. It’s gut-wrenching to consider the pain this family is enduring. Amy sounds like she was a beloved pillar of her family, leaving behind not only children but grandchildren as well. I hope the community wraps them in support as they navigate this nightmare. Praying that justice is served swiftly, and that they find some measure of peace in the midst of this tumult. If anyone has updates on how Keiyara is doing, please share. She’s been on my mind a lot.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how this tragedy has affected Amy Phillips' church community at Winkler’s Grove Baptist Church. From what I gather, she was an active member and had built many friendships there. I can only imagine how hard it must be for everyone who knew her through the church. Faith communities often offer such strength and support during difficult times, and I hope Amy's church family is finding ways to help each other cope with this unimaginable loss. It’s truly comforting to know that communities often rally together to stand strong for each other in moments like these. Praying for all who are grieving.
