Just came across the tragic case of John Nathaniel Palmer Jr., and my heart goes out to his family and friends. I can’t imagine the pain of losing someone so full of life and love, especially in such a senseless way. Palmer was just trying to get to work, providing for his kids, when everything was taken away. What really stands out is his mother’s strength and grace amid this tragedy. Offering forgiveness to the person responsible for this unthinkable act is something I don’t think I’d have the strength to do. It’s inspiring, and it shows just how extraordinary Palmer's family is. These shootings have left a ripple in the community, and I hope that justice is served swiftly and thoroughly. It's good to see the Kinston Police and other agencies working together so diligently. The least we can do is continue supporting Palmer’s family and keep them in our thoughts during these difficult times. If anyone has more info about how we can help or any updates, please share.
