Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Angie Britt, and while there's so much to unpack, my thoughts are really with those kids who were in the car with her during the shooting. I can't imagine how terrifying it must have been for them to witness such a violent act and then realize someone they knew and cared about was hurt. It's unreal that such young lives are touched by this kind of trauma. I've been thinking about what kind of support they might be getting now. I hope there's counseling available for them to help process what happened. I know communities often rally around children during times like this, but it’s hard to measure just how deep the impact goes. These kids are going to need a lot of love and understanding as they navigate their feelings. If anyone has any insights into what local support systems are in place or knows of initiatives that might be helping these kids, I’d be really interested to hear about it. Sending strength to Angie’s family and everyone affected.
