Has anyone else found it really concerning how many young individuals are getting caught up in such devastating incidents? Jeffery Penaloza Quiterio was just 19 years old with his whole life ahead of him. It's so sad to think about what he could have become. I've been following this case closely, and it feels like these occurrences are becoming way too frequent in Winston-Salem. We need more community outreach or something to really engage and protect our youth. Also, I hope Ariel Santa Maria Vargas makes a full recovery and am sending strength his way. If anyone local has more details or thoughts on how our community can possibly take steps to prevent these tragedies, it would be great to hear them. My heart goes out to Jeffery's family and friends. I can't even imagine what they’re going through right now.
