I've been following the Scottie Winstead case, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. I've been thinking a lot about how this all unfolded so publicly, especially at 2:30 p.m. in the middle of the day. It really makes you wonder about the brazen nature of this crime and how bold the perpetrator must have been. I hope community members who might have seen something come forward. I can't imagine how hard it must be for those close to Scottie, knowing that there were people around who might have witnessed what happened. Sending thoughts and hoping for answers soon.
