Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of David Strickland's tragic death and something that's been on my mind is the community's response. It's really evident how tight-knit Lumberton is and how deeply this loss has impacted everyone. It’s clear from the community vigils and support rallies that David had a significant, positive influence on the people around him. I feel for his friends and family who are navigating this difficult time.
Additionally, the arrest of Patrick McMillan must be incredibly painful for everyone involved. Knowing that this situation involves a family member makes it even more complex and heartbreaking for those left picking up the pieces. It’s important for us to keep supporting the Stricklands and McMillans, as healing will undoubtedly take time.
Does anyone have updates on any new community support events or memorials happening in the area? It would be great to share that information or thoughts here for those wanting to pay their respects or offer support.
My thoughts are with all who knew him.
