I've lived in Fayetteville for years, and it’s disturbing to think that something like this happened so close to home. It's important to remember that arguments can quickly get out of hand, especially when emotions are high. I’ve been following Damian Lee’s case closely, and I can’t stop thinking about the location of the incident. The 1800 block of Slater Avenue - it seems like such an unassuming place for a tragedy like this to unfold. Living in Fayetteville myself, it's unsettling to know something so devastating happened in what is usually a quiet neighborhood. I can’t imagine how the neighbors are coping with having witnessed or heard about such a traumatic event right next door. My heart goes out to them, as well as Damian's loved ones. It’s just a reminder of how fragile life is and how quickly everything can change.
