It's strange to think about how some cases just seem to slip through the cracks for decades. Rosa Maria Marquez's case is one of those, and I can't help but wonder about the role community memory plays in keeping a case alive. Over the years, so many details can get lost or altered based on who remembers what. Rosa’s daughters have grown up and have maintained that their father might've had a role in her disappearance, but they were so young at the time. How much weight does their perspective hold in the absence of hard evidence? It makes me think about the importance of witness testimonies and how challenging it can be when the main witnesses were just kids at the time. Anyone else feel torn about how these stories often rely on fragmented memories?
