I just learned about Megan Michelle Tate’s case, and I can’t stop thinking about the courage she must have had to step in and try to calm things down that night. It’s absolutely devastating to think that she was just trying to help and ended up losing her life because of it. Her sister described her as a "peacemaker," and it really makes me reflect on how selfless she was. It’s so sad that her presence is missed by everyone who knew her—what a huge loss for the Gastonia community. I can’t imagine the pain her family is going through, especially knowing she died trying to do the right thing. Her bravery is inspiring, and I hope she’s remembered for the love and peace she brought to others. Sending my support to all of Megan’s loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
