I just finished reading up on the case of William Massey Jr., and I'm really struck by the impact it must have had on the entire Massey family and the Shreveport community back then. It's just so sad to think about William Jr.'s life being cut short at just 18 years old, all because of these escalating domestic disputes. I can't help but wonder about Christine’s position in all of this. She was caught between her brother and her husband, Roy Winford Fulghum, who had such a volatile nature. The tension must have been unbearable for her and her family. It's a reminder of how domestic issues can spiral out of control and affect the lives of so many. My heart goes out to the Masseys for having to endure such a tragedy.
