I've been following Daniel Thomasson's case closely, and something about the new forensic technology struck me. Detective Harbin's attempt to use an X-ray machine to look for the murder weapon buried in concrete is truly fascinating. The idea that evidence could be hidden in plain sight all these years makes me wonder how many other cold cases could benefit from this kind of innovative approach. It's a reminder of how important it is to re-evaluate unsolved cases with fresh eyes. I can’t imagine how Daniel's family has coped with such a long wait for answers. Hoping that these efforts eventually lead to some closure for them. Does anyone else have any thoughts on how technology could aid in cracking cold cases?
