I came across Terry Lee Brock Jr.'s case while researching unsolved crimes in New Orleans, and it struck me how little information seems to be publicly available about the circumstances of his death. I understand that it was an emotional time for Terry’s family and that the obituary focuses on celebrating his life and the love his family had for him.
But here's the thing that confuses me: it seems like there wasn't much, if any, public information on an investigation or any steps taken towards justice for Terry. There are no leads, suspects, or updates that I can find. I wonder if his community has more insight into what happened or if efforts to seek justice have stalled.
Does anyone familiar with New Orleans or close-knit communities like Terry's have any thoughts on why a case like this might not move forward? It's sad to think there might be families still waiting for closure.
