It’s just devastating to think that proper enforcement could have possibly prevented this tragedy. My heart goes out to Amber Carter, who not only lost her husband and child but has to navigate a future without them. I hope this case spurs some urgent discussions and changes in how restraining orders are monitored and enforced. This family’s story deserves justice, and those of us following this case should advocate for improvements to protect others in similar situations.
