Did anyone else find it odd that Dolly's car was found abandoned in Vallejo, especially considering she went missing in Vacaville? I mean, it's not like Vallejo is just around the corner—it's a bit of a drive. Makes you wonder if she knew someone who lived out there or if there's some connection between the two places that hasn't been uncovered. It also seems like such a gamble for whoever left the car there, leaving it in a totally different city. Plus, Vallejo wasn't exactly known for being super safe back in the '80s. I just can't stop thinking about this detail and how it adds another layer of mystery to her disappearance. What do you all think? Could this point to someone outside of her usual circle being responsible?
I've been thinking a lot about Dolly's case and can't shake this particular detail: her abandoned car on Greenfield Avenue. Does anyone else find it odd that there was no purse in the car and no signs of anything amiss? It's like she just vanished into thin air with no struggle or evidence left behind. I'm curious about the area where her car was found—was it a spot known for anything at the time? Maybe a high-traffic area where something could have happened quickly? Or perhaps someone could have seen maybe a glimpse of something that they've brushed off over the years? I feel like this aspect needs more attention. Anyone familiar with Vallejo back in the '80s who might have some insights?
I've been digging through some old newspaper archives and came across a detail about Dolly's disappearance that I hadn't seen mentioned much before. Apparently, her car was found only a block away from a well-known diner that she and her husband used to frequent. This seems oddly specific, right? I can't help but wonder if it's just a coincidence or if there's something more there. Maybe someone at that diner might have seen something or noticed the car before it was officially reported? It's such a long shot considering the time that's passed, but worth talking about. Has anyone else come across any mentions of this diner or have any theories about why her car might have been left nearby?
