Hi everyone,
I came across Charles Vincent’s name while diving into cases from Baton Rouge in 2014, and it’s really puzzling how little information is available about his death. One thing I noticed is that the Baton Rouge Police Department doesn't have anything on their website from that period about him. It’s like he fell through the cracks or his case didn’t make any headlines. It makes you wonder if this could mean it wasn't considered suspicious at the time, or maybe there were circumstances that kept it out of the limelight.
It’s tough not having closure for those who knew him. If anyone is local to Baton Rouge or has access to old newspaper archives, maybe there’s something out there that could help bring some clarity. It's important to remember that real people and families are behind these stories, and they deserve answers. Hoping that someone out there has information that could shed light on this mystery.
Does anyone else find it odd how little coverage there seems to be surrounding Charles Vincent's death? I'm from Baton Rouge, and usually, even the most seemingly mundane cases get at least a blip on the radar. I just did a deep dive through 2014 local chat and news archives—absolutely zilch on Charles. It makes me wonder if there was a choice to keep details under wraps, or maybe there genuinely was no foul play. Surely, someone remembers something from that summer? Maybe a neighbor, friend, or someone who interacted with him around that time? I feel for his family not having the answers they need. Has anyone here heard anything locally or can suggest different avenues to explore to piece together what might have happened?
