I've been following the case of Rene O'Quin, and I can't help but feel for his fiancée. Coming home and finding your partner in such a horrific state after just going to sleep in the safety of your own home must be a living nightmare. It’s startling to think how unpredictable life can be, and this really brings attention to how our actions, even if unintentional, can have devastating consequences on others. I also find it unsettling how easily a firearm can lead to such a tragedy in a residential setting. The fact that a wall was the only thing separating life from death is terrifying. I’m curious what kind of legal actions are being taken beyond the initial charges against Pierre Camese, especially given the context of a domestic dispute the night before. Does anyone know if more light has been shed on the nature of that altercation or how Camese obtained the shotgun?
