I’ve been thinking about the impact this whole ordeal must have had on Tre Scott's family and friends over the years. The suddenness of losing a loved one to such violence is unimaginable. The fact that it took several years for some legal closure must've been incredibly taxing. I hope that Tre's family has found some semblance of peace as the legal proceedings have unfolded. It's a reminder of how long justice can take and the emotional toll it has on everyone involved. My thoughts are with both families as they continue to navigate life without their loved ones. Is there any recent update on how the community has come together to support them?

Does anyone else find it particularly haunting how quickly life can change in an instant? I keep thinking about Tre Scott's family and friends. Losing someone so young and full of potential must be beyond comprehension. I read bits about the case and the legal proceedings, and while justice had to be pursued, the emotional toll on everyone involved must be immense. I think about the milestones Tre will never reach, the birthdays his family will mourn instead of celebrate. It's a sobering reminder of how violence affects communities long after the headlines fade. Sending thoughts of peace and healing to those who knew and loved Tre and Jordy.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the families of Tre Scott and Jordy Williams and what they must have gone through all these years. It’s hard to imagine the pain of losing a loved one so violently, then having to endure the drawn-out legal battles. It's reassuring to know that Alfred Starks received a sentence, but nothing can truly compensate for the loss those families have experienced. I really hope they've been able to find some sense of peace or healing amidst all this. It's just so devastating to see young lives taken so senselessly. Does anyone know if there have been any community efforts in Thibodaux to honor Tre Scott and Jordy Williams or to support their families? Keeping them in my thoughts. ?
