Has anyone delved into the weather conditions in the Ansel Adams Wilderness around September 2, 1989, when Ronald Sallee went missing? It's always intrigued me how often weather plays a role in these kinds of disappearances. I wonder if there was any adverse weather that might have contributed to his behavior or his inability to find his way back. I remember hearing about cases where sudden changes in weather caught experienced hikers off guard. If anyone has any info or resources about the weather back then in that area, I'd be curious to learn more. It might not solve the mystery, but it could provide some context to what might have happened.
