Ronald Gale Sallee, 40, went missing on September 2, 1989, while camping in the Ansel Adams Wilderness, located within the Sierra National Forest in Madera County, California. Sallee, along with friends, was on a Labor Day weekend trip where they planned to hike the Cassidy Trail and fish along the San Joaquin River.
