Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about the tragic loss of Lanisha Kelly Scott and the ripple effect it must have had on her community. One aspect that really stands out to me is the role the neighborhood could play in solving this case. Central City, like so many parts of New Orleans, has such a strong sense of community, and I'm sure Lanisha was known and loved by many.
I can’t help but wonder if there are people out there with information that they might not even realize is significant. Even the smallest detail could be the missing piece investigators need. It’s a tough situation, especially considering the fear and mistrust that can sometimes hang over communities when such violence occurs.
If anyone from the area is reading this, I hope they know how important their voices and observations are. Speaking up can be incredibly difficult, but it might be essential not just for Lanisha’s family but also in making the streets safer for everyone. Every bit of information could bring us closer to getting justice for Lanisha and helping her family find some semblance of peace.
Thanks for listening, and I hope this case gets the closure it desperately needs.
I've been following Lanisha Kelly Scott's case, and it still baffles me how no significant progress has been made after all these years. I can't help but wonder about Benjamin Locure and whether he ever came forward or if he vanished without a trace. It's just so tough to see yet another young life lost in such a senseless manner, and my heart goes out to Lanisha's family. They deserve answers and closure.
Does anyone know if there have been any community initiatives or vigils held in her memory? Keeping her story alive might hopefully encourage someone with information to come forward. It's crucial that the community continues to support each other and work with authorities to end the cycle of violence. We need to keep raising our voices for justice—not just for Lanisha, but for all the young lives cut short.
