Has anyone else been following the Blake J. Helmer case? The more I read about it, the more I think about how incredible it was that Blake always offered free rides to people in need. It’s rare these days to find someone who's so selfless, and it must have been such a comfort to those struggling in his community to know he was there for them. I honestly can't fathom what could drive those kids to take such a gentle soul from us. The West Bank seems to have lost not only a cab driver but a true friend and neighbor. My heart goes out to his family, who must be missing him terribly. Anyone else from the area who can share a story or memory of Blake? It might help us all draw a little strength from the life he led.
