Has anyone else been following Ruby Barnette's story? I've been combing through newspapers and forums, trying to piece together more about her life. It's touching to see how much she was loved by her community. The New Bethel Baptist Church service must have been a beautiful tribute, and I imagine Round Grove Memorial Garden Cemetery is a peaceful place for her to rest.
Shreveport isn't a big city, so I wonder if anyone here attended the service or knew Ruby personally. I’d love to hear any memories or stories you’d like to share about her. Sometimes it helps to paint a fuller picture of someone's life beyond the few facts we find online. Sending love to her family and friends who might still carry the weight of her loss every day.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the discussions on Ruby Barnette's passing, and one thing that stands out to me is how deeply she was embedded in her community. It's evident from the obituaries and the turnout at New Bethel Baptist Church that she touched many lives. Her church family seems to have been a big support system for her, and I can only imagine how much they must miss her presence.
It's always comforting to see a community rally together to honor someone's life, even when their passing isn’t the cause of a broader investigation. I think it speaks volumes about how much Ruby was loved and respected. Does anyone have any personal stories or memories of Ruby they’d like to share? It would be nice to learn more about how she impacted those around her.
Sending thoughts of peace to her family and friends.
