Does anyone know more about the impact this case has had on the Lower 9th Ward community? It’s really devastating to think about how two lives were lost and others forever altered by such a violent act. I can't imagine how scary it must have been for the neighbors and anyone close to the victims. Terrance McBride’s neighbors described him as a quiet man who kept to himself, and it seems like the neighborhood is close-knit, which makes this even more upsetting. It's heartening to hear that the community is rallying around the victims' families, but how are they managing? Is there any ongoing community support or events aimed at healing, or is everyone just trying to cope on their own? I really hope the case moving forward brings some kind of closure to the families affected.
