I was reading about Terry Holden’s case again, and it’s just so unsettling that after all this time, there's still no closure for his loved ones. I can't even begin to imagine what his family and friends must be feeling, not knowing who is responsible or why this happened. It got me thinking about how Terry's life intersected with Marrero's ongoing issue with gun violence. It’s really concerning to see how this pattern has persisted in the community over the years, like with the more recent case of Jonathan Brookin. It seems like the more things change, the more they stay the same. I wonder if there’s something systemic in Marrero that’s preventing these cases from being solved. Are resources being allocated properly? Are there community initiatives to address this? It's just disheartening to see these crimes continue to occur with such frequency and little resolution. Sending lots of love to Terry’s family and everyone affected, hoping they find answers someday.
