Hey everyone, I've been following the Mabel Rogers case for a while now, and something that's always puzzled me is the lack of leads over the years. I mean, Memphis isn't exactly a small town, and it's surprising that there hasn't been more chatter or even rumors about what might've happened to her. Does anyone here have any thoughts on why some missing persons cases make headlines and others, like Mabel's, barely get a mention? Could it be the timing in the early '90s or something else about the case? Just thinking out loud and hoping maybe we can bring some fresh eyes or ideas to this. Any theories out there?

Has anyone looked into the meaning behind Mabel Rogers' "Twink" tattoo? Tattoos can be really personal and sometimes have connections to friends or loved ones. Could "Twink" be a nickname or even hint at a relationship that might give more insight into her life before she went missing? Maybe looking into friends or acquaintances who knew about it could uncover something. Has anyone heard anything about this from people who knew her back then? It's so frustrating how little information there is about her case.

Has anyone else considered looking into Mabel Rogers' social circle from around the time she went missing? I came across an old newspaper snippet about a local event she attended shortly before June '91, but there's no mention of who she was with or any friends' comments. It got me wondering if maybe someone close to her at the time might have insights that just never made it to the authorities or media. Considering how cases like hers can benefit from re-examining the people associated with the person, do you think it's worth re-reaching out to those who knew her then? It's odd how silent her friends and acquaintances seem to be in all the available public information. ?
