I've been following Lee Weathersby III's case, and I keep thinking about the impact on his classmates. It's unimaginable to return to school and feel the absence of a friend so suddenly, especially someone as young as Lee. Alliance Academy must have been overwhelmed with grief and confusion. I read about the memorial they held, and it's clear that his schoolmates cared deeply for him. Supporting students during such a difficult time must be incredibly challenging. My heart goes out to them and, of course, to Lee's family, especially given what they went through with Lamar just weeks later. Keeping them in my thoughts and hoping for some progress in the investigation soon. ?

Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the role of community support in tragic cases like Lee Weathersby III's. It's so moving to see how the community gathered to remember Lee and celebrate his life. The memorial held by his school and the local community speaks volumes about the impact he had on those around him, even at the young age of 13. But it just makes me wonder, how can communities maintain this support long term? It's crucial not only during the immediate aftermath but also as time passes and the quest for justice can feel like it's stalled. I can't imagine the strength it takes for his family, especially his mom, to keep pushing forward. If anyone has been involved in similar community efforts or has ideas on sustaining support and awareness in these situations, I’d love to hear your thoughts. It's important that families like Lee's know they're not alone, even years later. Sending love and support to Lee’s family and friends. -- Alex
