Has anyone else been struck by the fact that Wesley left his wallet and cigarettes in the truck? It's really out of character for someone who supposedly felt threatened to leave behind items he'd likely want on him. It's been bugging me that the rifle was the only thing missing from the truck. Could it have been staged somehow? The location of where his truck was found is also quite peculiar. If this was a setup, why choose somewhere as conspicuous as near a bridge where it might draw attention sooner? I wonder if the acquaintance he spoke with when he left that day has been thoroughly investigated or if there's anyone else who might have seen or heard anything? Would love to hear from anyone local or with knowledge about the area back then.
