Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Leroy Foster case since it came up back in 2015, and as more details come out, I keep thinking about how vulnerable both Leroy and Terry were in their own ways. It's really devastating to think about the trust Leroy must have had, working so closely with McKinney as his handyman. The nature of this crime is just so unbelievably heinous, and my heart goes out to Leroy's family who have had to endure the agony of losing him so violently. The discovery of body parts scattered along County Road 82 still chills me. It must have been deeply traumatic for everyone involved, especially for the family and the people who made those awful discoveries. The forensic teams had a huge task, piecing together the evidence that pointed to McKinney. I just hope that despite McKinney’s denial of killing Leroy, the trial brings the truth to light and justice is served. This case just makes you painfully aware of how fragile life can be and how trust can be so easily and tragically betrayed. I’m keeping Leroy’s family in my thoughts and hoping they find some peace as the trial progresses. Would love to hear what others think about how this case has been handled and the impact it’s had on the Cedar Bluff community. Take care, everyone.

Hey everyone, I've been following the Leroy Foster case closely and something that's been on my mind is the forensic evidence gathered from Terry Lee McKinney's residence. It's absolutely chilling to imagine what they uncovered, especially with the chainsaw being central to the investigation. The thought of anyone having to sift through such gruesome evidence to piece together what happened is hard to comprehend. It makes me wonder about the investigators and the toll this case must have taken on them, emotionally and psychologically. The way they managed to construct the timeline and build a case is impressive, but at the same time, it highlights a grim reality that such dedicated work is necessary to ensure justice for victims like Leroy. It’s just so incredibly sad to think about what his family has gone through. Has anyone here ever worked in forensics or law enforcement? How do you manage to process cases that involve so much trauma and heartbreak?
