I was reading through memorial tributes for Richard Hixon today, and it struck me how deeply loved he was by his community. It's clear he touched many lives during his time in Detroit. I can't help but feel frustrated knowing that someone who seemed to have such a positive influence could still become a victim of the violence that has plagued the city. It's infuriating to see how many cases remain unsolved despite the efforts of law enforcement and community initiatives. Richard’s family and friends deserve answers and peace, but the lack of available information on his case is disheartening. I hope that with advancements in technology and increased community involvement, his murder doesn’t remain just another statistic. The people who knew and cared about him deserve to find out what happened and see justice served.
