I’ve been following this case since the beginning, and I just can’t wrap my head around how it turned out in court. While I understand that juries have a tough job, it’s really difficult to reconcile Jenkins being acquitted of the more severe charges. Especially when you think about how young Antonio was—just 17! It’s a real tragedy to lose someone so young, who had his whole future ahead of him. I can't help but feel for Antonio’s family. It must be incredibly frustrating and painful for them to see the verdict, knowing their loved one’s life was taken. On top of that, it seems like the legal process dragged on for such a long time. From the arrest in early 2016 to the trial conclusion in 2022—that's a daunting six years of waiting and uncertainty. I hope that Antonio's loved ones have been able to find some peace, however small, now that the trial has concluded. Let’s keep them in our thoughts during this difficult time. Have there been any statements from Antonio’s family about the outcome?
