Hey everyone, I've been digging into Theresa Ann Rideout's case, and something caught my attention about her dog, River. It's definitely puzzling that both Theresa and River went missing simultaneously. Knowing how attached people can get to their pets, wouldn't it be logical to think that River could've left some sort of scent trail? I'm aware it's been so many years, but initially, could search dogs have followed River’s trail to give more clues on Theresa's last location? Was there any mention of tracks or anything during the original search efforts? I honestly can't find much on the kind of efforts they used back when everything happened. Also, given that they were last seen in Chandler, are there any woods or secluded areas nearby where authorities might not have searched thoroughly at the time due to limited resources or technology? Just a thought. Any insight would be appreciated!
