Hey everyone, I’ve been following the McAdams case and just keep coming back to the bravery of the deputies who responded that day. It's hard to imagine what must have been going through their minds as they approached such a volatile situation. Facing an armed individual with the potential for more innocent lives at risk is a scenario no officer hopes to encounter. I can’t help but feel for the deputies who rushed to the scene — it’s such a testament to their commitment to protect and serve, even under dire circumstances. It's probably not something they’ll ever forget, and my heart goes out to them as well as Brandi’s family and especially their little girl, who will carry the memory of this day with her forever. It’s clear the deputies did what they could to prevent further tragedy, and I hope they’re getting the support they need to navigate through this. It's a perspective that's often not given enough thought, but it’s a heavy burden that this whole community has been left to carry. Thoughts and prayers to all involved.
