It's hard to grasp the overwhelming grief Laquintina Qualls' family must be going through. One thing that's been gnawing at me is the mental state of Isaac T. Gee at the time of the crime. I wonder if there were any signs or prior incidents that hinted at such violent behavior. Was this something that authorities or people close to him could have anticipated or even prevented? The fact that Laquintina contacted a coworker right before the incident suggests a level of fear or distress. It's frustrating to think about what could have been done differently. My heart goes out to all who knew and loved her, as they deal with the aftermath of such a senseless act.
