This case has been weighing heavily on my mind since I first heard about it. I can’t stop thinking about the bravery and resilience of Donna’s youngest daughter, who was only 9 years old at the time. Imagine being so young and having to witness something so horrific, yet she had the presence of mind to call 911 during such a traumatic moment. It's absolutely chilling to think about what she must have experienced and how it will impact her life moving forward.
I've read that Donna was not only a dedicated officer but also a loving mother who was fiercely protective of her girls.
